Fly by Wire Control Law Design Engineer - TS IIIin GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
Qualified Candidates will have experience with augmented air vehicle control law design, modeling, and analysis using linear and non-linear modeling techniques.
The Preferred candidate will have:
- Experience with full envelope multiloop feedback gain design, architecture design, and gain scheduling techniques.
- Experience with handling qualities standards such as MIL-STD-1797B
- Experience with 14 CFR Part 23 or Part 25 certification
- Experiencewith ARP4754A, DO-178C, and/or DO-331
A Fly-by-Wire Control Law Design Engineer will:
- Support definition of control law design processes and standards.
- Establish requirements for control systems functionality, integrity, availability, and performance to ensure flight safety and Part 25 certification
- Define, design, analyze and document fly-by-wire primary and automatic flight control laws
- Conduct, analyze the results, and document hardware-in-the-loop tests of the fly-by-wire primary and automatic flight control laws
- Support flight test activities, including validation and verification of control law design and troubleshooting/revising control laws as required
